Trails
Most of my good ideas come from trails. These days it’s Mt. Tam, right out my door. Before California, I spent 14 years in Bend, Oregon, where backpacking taught me to pack light and sit with long silences.
Creative technologist finishing a masters in interaction design. I build experimental tools for designers learning to code, hike a lot, and play with whichever tools I can get my hands on.

Portugal to Turkey by train in my early 20s. Solo, 28L backpack, a DSLR, and no plan beyond the next station. Still my favorite way to move.
I lived on the island for a stint to study yoga and be a beach bum. One of my favorite places anywhere.
Cold Pacific days count as beach days. Sand, a book, nothing else required. Okay, maybe a puffy jacket.
A book club I want to start. Literary fiction, by the ocean. Interested? Let me know.
